Product features and dosage
The curing critical temperature of the accelerator MBT 80GE is 125℃, so it is easy to scorch. It can be used as a peptizer for natural rubber. It can also be used as a scorch retarder in curing systems without sulfur such as CR zinc oxide and magnesium oxide curing systems.
Altermix MBT 80GE needs to be used in combination with zinc oxide and stearic acid. For higher curing speed and better curing properties, Altermix MBT-80GE can be used together with secondary accelerators such as guanidines, thiurams and dithiocarbamates.
Altermix MBT 80GE is not pollutional, but it is bitter in taste, therefore it is not suitable for rubbers in contact with food.
