Product features and dosage
Altermix EC-80GE is free from pollution and discoloration. It is suitable for both nature rubbers and synthetic rubbers, especially for EPDM, NBR and HNBR. The scorch retarder can significantly extend the scorch time / T5, and have no effect on the vulcanization speed / T90, which makes it convenient for engineers to adjust the vulcanization process.
Altermix EC 80GE can also be used as an accelerator, it participates in cross-linking reaction in the sulfur vulcanization system, improves the cross-linking level, reduces the stress-strain, and increases the stress at a definite elongation.
Altermix EC 80GE is suitable for rubber compounding, it can effectively inhibit the early scorch in the mixer, and at the same time prolong the storage period of the rubber compound. In addition, the storage period of the froth rubber can be extended from 2 weeks to 4 weeks with 0.8 ph EC-80GE.
Altermix EC 80GE is also quite helpful to the scorch resistance of ACM in TCY curing system.
